April Fools Ride - Ride Information to be Determined.

April 11 - 15

MoArk Adventure 5 - This event is a "curve-chaser's" delight.  Three days of riding (1100 tire shredding miles) in the Ozarks to start our riding season.  This ride begins in Park Hills, MO.  We will be staying the night at Rosener's Inn on April 11 and will have a rider's meeting there around 9:00PM following the dinner at "The Branding Iron Bar-B-Q.  On Thursday, we will be taking a twisty route from Park Hills, MO to Russellville, AR.  We will be staying Thursday and Friday nights at the Best Western in Russellville.  On Friday we will be riding on some of the best roads in Arkansas that are north and west of Russellville.  We will return to Park Hills, MO from Russellville on Saturday and gather for dinner afterwards at Bandana's BBA in St. Louis.  Contact Gregg Mitchell to sign up for this event. "Rough Rider 1000" Ride - An Iron Butt Association style ride - 1000 miles in 24 hours.  This is Equivalent to the IBA "Saddle Sore 1000.  Contact:  Terry Odom (tiopc@aol.com)

Michigan Mountain Madness - 2011  To ride in the Smokies in May is considered the Michigan Squadron Hallmark Ride.  It will be held at the Ironhorse Motorcycle Lodge in Stecoah, NC.  Members participating in this event will be riding on the best roads found in Western NC, North GA, and Eastern TN for five glorious days.  If you want to attend this event, do not delay to contact Bill Webb (billwebb@england.edu) to get all the details.
June 3 Don & Jan Pennington's Summer Sizzle Bar-Be-Que - The festivities begin at 2:00 for MSTA and BMWTCD members as well as invited guests. This is an opportunity to sample good food, plan trips, tell stories, and generally socialize.  Its also an opportunity for a unique garden walk.  Contact Don Pennington (pennington@ameritech.net) for additional information.
June 21 - 24 Hal Of It 2 - This ride is still in the planning stages. It is being put together for those of you who are unable to make it to STAR this year in Colorado. Details will be published soon.

STAR (Sport Touring Association Rendezvous) - This is the annual must attend get together of the MSTA (Motorcycle Sport Touring Association).  STAR 2012 marks the 30th anniversary of the MSTA and plans are to make it an extra special event to celebrate our milestone. On June 24th, 2012, MSTA members will flock to Avon Colorado for the 5th time in the clubs history to ride the best roads the area has to offer. Blue Grass Boogie. Join us in Morehead, KY for two or three days of exploring great roads in Kentucky.  Additional details to follow.  Contact:  Gregg Mitchell (mi_msta@earthlink.net)

Michigan Ohio Blitz (M.O.B.). On Friday morning we will meet for breakfast at Bob Evans in Toledo and ride from Michigan to Coshocton, OH and stay at the Country Squire Inn and Suites, 275 S Whitewoman St. Phone 740-622-9823. There will be a Mandatory "Rider's Meeting" held at the motel at 9:00 PM, when we'll set up the riding groups, review the routes and prepare for the next days ride on Saturday. Several routes will be mapped out ranging from 234 - 300 miles of twisty pavement with a lunch stop at theBeallsville Dinner. The ride will continue after lunch and end in New Philadelphia, OH where we'll be staying at the Best Western Dutch Valley Inn, 161 Bluebell Dr. Phone 330-339-6500.. Mail Pouch Fly-By. In 2012 we will be returning to Marietta for the Mail Pouch Fly-By. Join 150+ members (growing every year) for the best sport touring roads Ohio and West Virginia has to offer. We will once again use the Holiday Inn Marietta for our host hotel. Your registration fee includes:

Tip of the Mitt. A very unique ride heading north through rural Michigan to the community of Bellaire, in the northwestern part of the State, where we will stay at the Bellaire Inn.  We will then ride and explore the hills and dales of this part of the state.  On Sunday we will head home, again riding the scenic by-ways of rural Michigan.  Contact:  John Cirner.
